Meet the team

    • Bing Rana

      Mortgage and Finance Consultant

      Bing began his financial career over 30 years ago. Having graduated with a degree in Business and Accounting, Bing spent nearly 16 years in the retail banking industry, with his experience ranging from management stints in a Citibank affiliated company in Manila,  all the way to being a Branch Manager with Citibank, Sydney. In 1997, Bing began to specialise within the home loan sector, acquiring a franchise of Mortgage Choice which he held for 10 years. He then worked as a Loan Writer for 7 years, prior to joining QuickSelect in June 2014. Bing has acquired extensive knowledge of the entire home lending process, and has worked with a range of customers from first home buyers to investors in both residential and commercial properties. Bing takes pride in being able to assist each customer achieve their individual objectives, whether it be mortgage minimization or wealth creation.

    • Brian Beck

      Mortgage and Finance Consultant

      Brian has been a mortgage broker for three decades. In 2013, he joined QuickSelect. He has maturity, experience, and he knows the best way to structure a deal to deliver the best result to his clients. Clients particularly like Brian’s friendliness and his ongoing commitment to finding the best loan solutions.

      He is a great listener and communicator and can analyse the needs of each of his clients and suggest strategies that may not have considered before. “A satisfied client becomes a client for life” is Brian’s motto. Brian is also mentoring other upcoming Mortgage Brokers through the national MFAA mentoring programme.

    • Declan Murphy

      Managing Director

      Declan is a chartered accountant and serial entrepreneur. Commencing his career with KMPG in Dublin, he was the Head of Finance for UK’s largest money market intermediary (now part of Santander Group). He subsequently moved to Australia where he was CFO for Australia’s largest Mortgage Aggregator, AFG prior to then becoming Chief Operating Officer for ASX listed business, Repcol Limited.

      In 2007, he launched Australia’s first online mortgage auction site, BidMyLoan. Two years later he exited BidMyLoan after a successful trade sale. He subsequently founded Australian Wholesale Fulfillment in 2009, which trades as ‘QuickSelect’.

    • Diana Hernandez

      Client Support

      Diana graduated with a BSC in Tourism and spent the first part of her career in hospitality honing her impeccable client service skills. In 2015 she moved into Banking & Finance initially with an international bank and then working in mortgage broking with an ASX listed business. Diana holds an envious mix of experience having worked but in a client facing role but also as a business analyst focused on client process. At QuickSelect she gets to deliver exceptional personal service within a robust and responsive process. She enjoys a challenge and understands the varied complexities of each lenders process ensuring she is always focused on the optimum outcome for QuickSelect clients

    • Ferina Liong

      Client Manager

      Ferina holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Accounting from the University of New South Wales. Having lived in Indonesia and Singapore, she is also fluent in Indonesian and Mandarin. She has good attention to detail and tirelessly supports our Mortgage brokers via completion of applications, compliance, loan documents and facilitates the background activities and essential steps of achieving the desired loan for each client. Her knowledge, ambitious character and kind hearted nature make her an invaluable asset to QuickSelect. Ferina is able to offer her clients high quality assistance and advice on the most suitable home loan to meet their needs and requirements.

    • Kenneth Villegas

      Client Support

      Ken brings a wealth of mortgage experience to QuickSelect having worked with a couple of large brokerages focused on the loan administration process. She commenced her career with AIG, one of the worlds largest insurers but the opportunity to work directly with clients, helping solve their issues and ensuring a smooth experience from the first interaction through to settlement and beyond convinced her to move to QuickSelect. She enjoys being busy and loves nothing more than to see a client settle on their loan on time and with no issues.

    • Jarred Aranza

      Client Support

      Jarred has been helping make life easier for clients since 2012. Joining QuickSelect in early 2022 he quickly became an integral member of the team. With a background in mortgage broking extending beyond ten years, Jarred brings a wealth of knowledge focused on finding the right solution in the right time frame for clients. His attention to detail and ability to identify the subtle issues that can make a huge difference ensures he brings invaluable experience to the team.

    • Johnny On

      Head of Finance and Compliance (Mortgages)

      Johnny holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Professional Accounting from Macquarie University. He has good attention to detail and tirelessly supports our Mortgage brokers via completion of applications, compliance, loan documents and facilitates the background activities and essential steps of achieving the desired loan for each client. He also assists in the payroll commission and the IT Technician.

    • Jotishna Lal

      Sales Manager

      Jotishna started in conveyancing where she worked for five years before moving into banking. After twelve years with a major bank where she worked with lending support and subsequently moving into research and analysis. Jotishna leads our sales team focused on ensuring that clients receive everything they need , from research on properties through to borrowing capacity and funding requirements to ensure that before they make any decision they have all the information available.

    • Juliana Mapanga

      Mortgage and Finance Consultant

      Juliana came to Australia in 2004, originally from Zimbabwe. After completing her studies and graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, she took an internship as a Mortgage Support Analyst at a boutique mortgage broking and financial planning company in Sydney. Having completed her internship, Juliana joined Quickselect as a Mortgage Sales Associate in 2013 where she supported mortgage brokers via completion of applications and facilitated the background activities and essential steps of achieving the desired loan for each client.

      She completed her Certificate IV in Mortgage Broking in 2014 followed by a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking in 2015 which accelerated her career into a fully qualified Mortgage Broker and a member of the MFAA. Juliana now has over 7 years of experience in the mortgage industry and her top to bottom knowledge of the mortgage broking process means she has a detailed understanding of each lender’s policies and loan approval criteria.

    • Kalisi Seruvatu

      Sales Associate

      Kalisi loves to help people. She has been working in sales since leaving University and understands that good sales really means good client service. Kalisi likes to start every conversation with “how can I help” and she knows if she helps enough people in the right way, the rest will look after itself.

    • Kimberley Ash

      Mortgage and Finance Consultant

      Kimberley, originally from the UK, joined QuickSelect in 2014. She is a member of the MFAA and holds a Certificate IV and Diploma in Finance & Mortgage Broking. Kimberley’s keen attention to detail and expertise in lender policy ensures a smooth home loan process from start to finish. Kimberley is passionate about helping each and every client achieve their goals, not just in the short term but over the life of the loan. Whether you are looking to build a property portfolio, manage your existing debt position or pay off your loan quicker, Kimberley will work hand in glove with you to achieve your objectives. And time and time again this has resulted in many recurring customers and word of mouth referrals.

    • Mary Anico

      Client Manager

      Mary is obsessed with learning, post school she completed her Bsc Nursing and is now pursuing a BA (Psych) . She has over ten years experience in customer service with the last five years focusd on mortgages. Her vast wealth of knowledge and experience ensure you are always in safe hands.

    • Sean Allport

      Mortgage and Finance Consultant

      Sean is one of our most experienced brokers. After attending the University of Northern Territory to study a double major in economics and finance, Sean began his career in finance in 1987. Sean found his niche for home loans over 15 years ago, specialising in investment properties in particular. He holds a diploma in mortgage broking and management and is a member of the MFAA. Having worked for a variety of financial institutions, including Aussie Home Loans, Sean has a firm knowledge of the structure of home loan products and services. He has a strong ability to communicate financial matters professionally, with a rigorous approach to finding solutions appropriate to each client.

    • Shawn Moore

      Shawn is one of our more experienced mortgage brokers with over 30 years of experience in finance. He has been on both sides of the fence, whether it’s writing loans as a mortgage specialist or analysing them as a credit analyst. Shawn’s knowledge and expertise allows him to solve even the most challenging of problems and still continues to feel a great sense of satisfaction and reward when helping customers achieve their dream of owning a home. Going above and beyond when helping customers is something Shawn prides himself on.
